Laura and Alex chose to have an intimate wedding in December at Dovecliff Hall Hotel in Staffordshire.
It was a lovely way to end the year! The day was complete with kilts, red bridal shoes, bouquets handmade by bride Laura, lush green foliage and candles across the venue, personalised baubles, guitar playing around the dinner table and fab acoustic duo Hessian Throw in the evening.
The couple wanted really relaxed, natural, full-day photography to reflect them and their wedding day. They chose to leave out some of the wedding traditions that didn't suit them and wanted to ensure they spent as much time with those closest to them. As a wedding photographer I'm always aware of this and make sure timings and planning for photography are discussed with the couple in advance of the day.
