Hello 2020! I’m itching to get started with this year’s wedding season. In the meantime I’m beavering away at my winter jobs, which includes selecting my top 100 photos from the year. Considering I delivered over 13,000 wedding photos in 2019, it’s been quite a task! 

First of all… THANK YOU!

Getting to photograph the happiest of days for my clients and meeting hundreds of new faces each year is something I never take for granted, so here’s a huge thank you to everyone that had me along to shoot their day. From crisp winter weddings to sun soaked beach scenes, 2019 took me to some beautiful places, including a photoshoot around the West Peninsula of Iceland, regular favourites such as The West Mill and Aswarby Rectory, down to coastal Dorset and a quirky pub celebration at The Malt Cross. Oh and a quick autumnal trip to Stockholm for the epic Way Up North Photography Conference! I also shoot commercial photography, suffice to say I’m never not busy.

On a personal level it was an awesome year of making memories. I danced my socks off at festivals, explored Edinburgh, spent time with my besties in Manchester and London, roamed Lisbon for a week (ask me and I’ll wax lyrical about this gem of a city) and hit the big 3-0 whilst there. I can’t not mention my little dog Pip, who turned one in September and has become my trusted (if a little mischievous) sidekick. And yes, I can bring her to our meeting if you like… You want to bring your dog too? Even better!

I absolutely loved putting this selection together, it reaffirms to me everything that’s incredible about photographing weddings. You’ll see A LOT of dancing, laughing, the odd tear, epic light, colours, laughter in the sun, snuggles in the rain (got to embrace that English weather), Icelandic elopement scenes (please take me back!) and most importantly, a whole lotta’ love!!!
