Kiki and Nick got hitched at The Asylum Chapel in Peckham one sunny, cold October day. This quirky London wedding venue has been on my wish list for a long time; the light in there is unreal and the place has an otherworldly atmosphere that you get totally absorbed in!
This was my last wedding of a very busy season and it could not have been a more perfect day. I listened to all of Kiki and Nick's photography preferences; to keep the photos really informal, work with natural light and that they trusted me to document their day in a really relaxed way. Music to my ears! Family photos are of course so important, but having time to focus on photographing action as it unfolds is a huge part of how I shoot a wedding.
I can't tell you how much I loved working with these guys (including their little son Magnus!), their family and friends. The whole day just flowed effortlessly, completely personal to them.
Scroll down to see loads of love, autumnal light, laughter and a stylish reception at The Rosendale in West Dulwich. One of my favourite weddings of 2017!
